We can manufacture any type of timber moulding to suit any project from restoration to new builds.

There are many different types of timber used for joinery and becuase of the durability some have more suitable uses than others.

The most common timbers we use for external joinery are Iroko, Utile, European Oak and softwood.

Timber such as Ash, Beech and American White Oak are more suitable for internal joinery along with veneered MDF.  These are mainly used for furniture, decorative joinery and internal doors.

Moore & O’Gorman can run all types of mouldings such as hand rails, skirting boards, architraves and dado rails.

We also match existing profiles if you can not find what you are looking for.

Skirting boards, dado rail, architrave and cornice can be reproduced in any material to your individual design.  Large or small quantities can be produced to your tailored needs.  Moore & O’Gorman specialise in machining exact copies of existing mouldings all produced from a small sample or drawings.  This can be particularly useful when working on refurbishment carpentry and joinery projects.
